I trust you, Arjen :D
I followed your links to the Dutch sister forum, which you posted under "Projects".
I do not know all the words, but when reading the text aloud (Nederlands after all is just another German dialect  ),
I can get the meaning pretty close.

I tried the "de-rusting" method and it shows excellent results.
The dismantling of the caliper piston and cylinder is complicated, as one needs a proper tool to get the spring ring (Federring) out.

So I will wait (patiently  ) till you get back from abroad all in one piece and do the tutorial writing.

Thanks for your help.

Resurrecting this old thread as I'm in need of rear brake discs at the moment.

Did anyone find a good solution to this problem? Looking for a place in Europe before I hit Alfissimo from overseas, also if possible for a cheaper option (considering adapting TS front rotors as well).

Arjen, where did you get your new pair a few years ago? :?:

Not cheap, this was just a quick search and I don't know if they are correct, but I have received the proper parts when ordering from alfisti.net.

Thanks, I also found the ones from Alfisti in the meantime so I'm a bit torn between getting those, or re-drilling the TS-ones. TS-ones I can get for ca. 50 EUR a set, drilled or slotted rotors as well if one wishes such a thing. Then re-drilling the bolt pattern at a local machine shop.

I've got the weekend to think it through but probably I'll go with trying to adapt the TS discs due to price and to test it out for the future as well.

Did you find a solution?

Here is 1 piece, from what I can read:

Yes! :D

Just successfully mounted the front 2.0 TS discs after re-drilling and can confirm full success.

Dimensions are exactly the same, just the bolt pattern had to be tweaked but that is not an issue.

I've used locally manufactured discs as an experiment before ruining a pair of eexpnsive discs, so they were cheaper than Brembo, paid around 50 EUR for 2 new discs incl. re-drilling at a local machinist.

I'll add some photos later.

Good to know that this is possible :)

Please remember to add photos
