November 2022 i started a topic about the Recaro seat side panels, my seats have a broken one and i tried to repair it. I worked out but not what i wanted/expected.
Marcus also tried to find a guy/company that could reproduce these panels, unfortunately he wasn’t happy with the product. The last months i pickup this project again, found a guy that could 3D scan the panel, with the designer i will finetune the fragile parts.
In my earlier topic i mentioned a price around € 135,= a piece, this was with Injection molding and a amount of 175 pieces. These amounts will be lower but more expensive.
I will order a sample and see what needs to be adjusted, after i got the sample i can calculate the exact price per piece.
