Post by Romuald »

Hello!
Are these filters available? Is it possible to choose an alternative?
Thank you!

If I recall correctly, those are metal filters, not paper. They can be cleaned ultrasonic and re-used.

This one is made of paper. And I have never seen the second filter :(

This will most likely be difficult to find, but since it is paper, I would think that it should be possible to find a similar size/thickness paper filter and put in. The filter lasts a long time, so it should not be too critical to do something like that, though I haven't tried it.

The first one which goes into the reservoir I got about 2 years ago brand new from an Alfa dealer, go and ask, they may still have them (comes together with a new spring too).

The second one in the Viscomatic group is N/A anywhere, I've tried contacting the supplier even (Microfluid), but they don't have any information about it and it was apparently lost when they moved from their paper archive to the Internet age many years ago, or at least they couldn't find it in their archives anymore. I didn't try to open and look at it, maybe I will do that at some point and then probably we can clean it, or find a similar filter to replace it.
